Pacman Yellow

ALso, if you are painting this new from scratch yourself, then use a foam roller and not a spray can. You wouldn't believe how many spray cans it takes to do a good paint job on a cabinet. I think my old red Defender cabinet took almost 30, and my old Pac took over a dozen.

Here is a quick update on my color matching test.  I did a spot test on my pacman cab on friday with the Rustoleum sunburst and it matched perfectly.  I mean perfectly, no slight changed in hue or saturation.  I am goingto sand and prime around the main artwork and then go back in with the rustoleum with the artwork masked off.  Down the road I am going to invest in a compressor and airbrush and then finish off the artwork with color coded blue and orange.  As always, opinions are welcome and appreciated.

My turn to paint my cabinet... I'm still unsure of the exact yellow color match (with the blue specks).  Someone said NOT the sherwin williams yellow.  If not, what is the correct match/code/link?  As always, Thanks in advance.

(yes I searched for this, couldn't find any specific links other than previously posted safety yellow link above).

someone suggested taking in your marquee/sideart and getting that color matched.  Even if you get the exact original pac paint, it won't look good if it is noticeably different than the art

Q*Bert_OP:
I used Rustoliem Oil-Based Saftey Yellow (quart sized)

It matched the one at a local laundromat perfectly.

Here's how it turned out.
