so i continuously find myself coming up with mad/pointless projects and here is my latest Portona. I've spent the last 2 months slowly reverse engineering daytona usa and porting it to C++ Progress is slow but here is a quick video of the progress



I'd love to here some community ideas on where to take the project, one idea is having two instances running on a raspberry pi using one HDMI port per machine

Cool project. Hmmm, i'd like to see higher rendering scales, while keeping the ability to run a desired video modes, and keeping LAN but having fallback to single player on a timeout if the link isn't found. This is probably just me though, i'm running 15kHz CRT displays on a Win10-based LAN setup :D

There have been a few recomp projects and PC ports recently though, so taking a look at those, or perhaps posting up on a FB/Discord group like Retro Racing Luantics, will get you answers from a wider demographic.
