  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with LEDBlinky and LaunchBox (Big Box) regarding the Attract Mode.

The Problem:
When I manually browse through my MAME games list, LEDBlinky correctly lights up the specific control buttons for each selected game using the MAME configuration/colors. However, as soon as Big Box enters the Attract Mode (screensaver/automated video loop), the button LEDs turn completely off. After the inactivity timer runs out, it only falls back to the general FE Active/Screen Saver animation, but it never shows individual game controls while the games are rotating in the carousel.

What I've already checked / configured:

In LEDBlinkyConfig -> LaunchBox Tab: "Demo Game Controls" is checked, "LaunchBox Screen Saver Selects Random Game" is checked, and the path to BigBoxSettings.xml is correct and verified.

In LEDBlinkyConfig -> FE Options Tab: "Screen Saver Animation" is left blank (hoping it would pass the game controls), and "FE Active/List Change" animations work fine during manual navigation.

In LaunchBox -> Options > Integrations: LEDBlinky integration is enabled, and I've tested toggling advanced options, but the automated loop still drops the signal.

Attract Mode delay is set to 10 seconds for testing purposes.

Is there a known limitation or a specific configuration setting I'm missing to force LEDBlinky to update and display the specific MAME game controls while Big Box's Attract Mode is running?

Thanks in advance for any help!
