Vsync yes or not?

Is it neccesary with GrovyMAME + CRTemudriver + ATI card + scart CRT? So you still see tearing with vsync off? Does it depends on each game, how close the refresh rate gets...?

Vsync is always needed. It doesn't matter how close the refresh is. In fact, if you could achieve a 100% perfect match on the refresh you would still see tearing without vsync.

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
