Painting sticks/buttons and misc questions

I'm in the final stages to begin the cab design, and I also have a good theme in mind. The color scheme includes using "Happ" yellow. I'm interested in getting the sticks on my perfects and supers painted the same yellow instead of the stock black. I can't really order sticks from Happ as they won't fit (such as the rotaries). So my first few questions are:

• What is the CMYK mix or Pantone color for "Happ" yellow. Is there a site that lists it for all Happ colors?
  
• If I want the sticks painted, where could I go? How do I describe what I'm trying to do in "painter-ese?"

Some other minor miscellaneous questions:

• Is the yellow T-molding from t-molding.com Happ yellow?
• Is it recommended to paint and/or prime the CP if I'm putting a sticky vinyl overlay from classicarcadegraphix on?
• What would be the best method to repaint the coin door if it's brand new from Happ? I know there is a thread topic on this, but it's more for how to prep an old door.
• Is it possible to get a marquee retainer in Happ yellow? I see no part # for yellow on Happ site.

I could be wrong on this, but I'm willing to bet the paint wont last very wring on such a high contact item.  That's why the handles are not painted, but made of a plastic that was colored before molding. I understand your delima though....I'm in the same position.  One thought is to by a comp stick of the desired color and then get someone with a lathe to cut the groove in the same spot as in the 360.  

Another possibility is this.  I seem to recall that the wico leaf joystick handles will fit a 360.  Maybe you can get one of these off of ebay or something and then remove the top and put a comp or ultimate top of the right color in its place.  Again, I haven't tried this, I'm just throwing out alternatives for you.

I'm going to second the thought that the paint will not last.

I seem to remember someone on the board painting some buttons, and it didn't last long at all.  Wound up looking terrible after a month or so.

OK I did a little searching on the boards.  It seems my alternative solutions may not work as the shaft diameter of comps is bigger than P360s.  Nevertheless it is close and probably worth the cost of a single shaft to see if it will fit.  Of course if it will fit, then you will still need to make the grooves on the shaft in the proper locations.  Assuming any of the grooves are needed apart from the bottom one.

It also appears a few people have sanded the joysticks and painted them with paint followed by clear coats.  the posters claim little to no wear so maybe I'm wrong about the paint not lasting.  Sorry I forgot to keep the thread so I could post it, but I'm sure you can find it in no time just searching the board.

Yeah, I'll keep skimming around here to get a better answer. I'll have to take it to a good paint place around here and see if they have suggestions. Thanks for the replies so far.

As for my other questions, does anybody have any ideas?
