Replacement Remote Board for Kortek KTW-N-26
« on: May 29, 2021, 11:17:52 pm »
My MK1 monitor works, but the Vertical scroll pot is borked. So the screen won't stop scrolling completely. I can get it really slow, but not stopped.

My brother in law took the remote board home with him to work on, but in the mean time I still want to use my cab. So I need to order a replacement/backup remote board.

Is there anything out there I can get that will work with it, or do I need an exact match for the KTW-N-26?

So there's no other board that will work in place of this one?

Maybe a pic of the chassis side connector will help?

Not sure if they used the same one for various chassis, but that doesn't look like either if the 2 styles I have myself.
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools! I can fix it.

How do you know the pot is broken?

It sounds like the monitor won't sync.

Because one of the feet of the pot is completely broken off of the board and not making contact at all. My brother in law has the board and ordered some more pots for it.

In the meantime I just wanted to see if I could order a backup somewhere to have incase he can't fix this board.
