Namco VG84 NTSC board pinout
« on: April 26, 2021, 08:52:15 pm »
I got one of these to play around with and I'm not sure on the pinout. As far as I can tell it's pretty straightforward till the power header:

The RGB header (JP3) I assume is Red, Red Ground, Green, Green Ground, Blue, Blue Ground? Or just two pins each for the RGB? On JP4 I see the S for Sync but I have no idea the orientation of the VCC pins.

This has a CXA1645M on it, so I assume this can work off 5V, or do I need 12V? And how should I wire it up so I don't fry the thing?

haha ok so I just turned the board over and noticed all those VCC pins are going to the same trace, so I guess I just run my +5V to any one of those.
