Just noticed Downwell's resolution is way off in the top post.
This is a game you want to play in TATE, and its native res is 284x160.
I found that 284x216 is a good resolution to run on a 4:3 display so it letterboxes to the right size. I definitely had to fiddle with porches to get it to touch the sides on the long axis.
And it's also a pain to get this game to not do weird scaling that takes it out of native res. I think I had to do some alt-tabbing and some toggling of options back and forth.
But cool game to play for anyone with a black and white tube especially

Side question. How do I stop my modelines from changing back to their default values when using the standalone switchres binary? For example when using 2560x240, the default horizontal H center value is 52/65
But my actual edit is 46/65 to have it nearly perfectly centered.
Whenever I use the standalone switchres binary for a script I use to run Capcom vs SNK 2 (or any script with any edited modeline)
It defaults back to 52/65. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!
