(1 is super hard)

1st - leave the tropical files ALONE
tropical - original needs to stay the same,
everytime i changed it, game will crash
that means you will ALWAYS be doing 2 laps of this first
the next 2 need to replace CANYON, and ALPINE
respectively

you can use the two other cars, enduro and bowler in the single race games.
(press brake on the car select screen)

the car picture won't change, but the one you change it with will show up.
all the cars handle the same, as far as i can see.

i tried swapping the cars from revo, but they are in a different format,
so won't work just by renaming the files..

the manual transmission gets a few mph/km faster, but nothing substantial.
there are more settings you can change - laps, difficulty etc.

you have to put it on : easy settings
and 2 LAPS
this will give you enough time to finish these courses

Limitations
Translations are NOT meant to be accurate. The UTF-16LE encoding format means the *exact* same number of bytes must be used as the original text, and Japanese can fit a lot more information in less space than English (especially without spaces!).
Graphics that display text (read: not actual text) are not translated. While textures can be found, an easy way to edit them is not currently available.
Limited testing has been done at writing, and undiscovered bugs may be present.

hah, i'm still processing your posts above on the track swapping. Will probably mean i need to adjust the swaps i've already set up. Does the championship mode work for two player link?
Never even heard of SR2006, but Japanese only so that'd be why. Let us know how your eval goes!
