Soulcons Popeye Cab
« on: November 08, 2004, 06:48:12 am »
Hey guys I got a popeye cab and have yet to get it working. I have worked with KLOV.com and still nothing. I don't know if you all have some different ideas of what I can do. But just in case I will post a link to where I had my klov post.

Here is a link to some mighty huge pictures of the inside of the cab. http://drayco02.htmlplanet.com/photo4.html

Here is the Klov forum I have been accessing and recently seemed to come to a dead end. http://forums.webmagic.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=KLOVHELP&Number=176302&page=3&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

I basically am getting a bit depressed because I am un edjumacated and it just sits there going FUMP. Please peeps help I would also be willing to pay someone close to Chicago to come on over and fix it :).

Cap that monitor man, doesn't seem like you have done that yet.

ANd get a multimeter and measure your voltage.

Aye awaiting Caps from bob roberts :).

Any suggestions on other places to buy cap kits online other the Bob Roberts. I am impressed by his knowledge and helpfulness but man I hate the whole e-mail/send cash Blind/wait for shipping. It just seems so not safe to me. But if he is the only way to accomplish it then so be it. :)

With the help of the Diagram I will find the Ground and +5 on the board and report my findings. If I am not getting +5 what might the issue be?

Bob is really the best vendor, once you have ordered from him a couple of times he'll start shipping the stuff as soon as you order it, and you won't have to wait for him to get your check.
