No, nothing is going to jump out and scare you as you look at these pictures.  But it's amazing how these pictures look so different when viewed up close and from across the room.

Supposedly, the same properties in these images that lead to that difference of perception go a long way toward explaining why the famous 'face on mars' photos look so different between those taken with different orbiters.
