I need to give some thought to getting the Sanyo TV system to switch to DVD mode (component input) after power up. It's not the default.

Have you gotten into the service mode yet?

I also have some issues getting AttractModePlus working with the modified Radeon driver on the CRT. I'm working on resolving that as well, probably will discard AttractModePlus as an FE choice rather than struggle with it. All good! Damn it's nearly playable! Hah ha.

I use Attract Mode on my CRT cabs so may be able to help you, or at least share what works for me. I did try using AM+ but ultimately went back to AM vanilla as AM+ did not support a third-party plug-in I wanted to use (to display an instruction page if certain buttons on the main control panel were pressed)

AM's default layouts automatically scale to whatever desktop resolution you are using. I stuck with 720x480i. However for CRT TVs, with their built-in overscan, I had to edit/tweak the layouts a lot to get them to fit properly. AM doesn't have an offline layout editor tool, so that meant just learning about Squirrel programming, cracking into .NUT files and jumping onto Notepad++ for some light code hacking.

The Mala FE revamp is an interesting option.

You'll get that new GreenAntz for this once the new cases come in. Delayed by floods in Bangkok.

Cool CRT brackets! CRT shelves begone! Good for tight spaces.
