There is colored translucent acrylic. Something could be done with that possibly.

So, I printed up a set of just the black on a transparent sheet.  I'll hit it with red spray paint and then a back coat of white like I did on my Firepower backglass.

The price goes up quickly on colored plastics, though.

The plastic for this size is super cheap. A 24 x 48 inch sheet translucent color is like 50 bucks. I can cut almost 300 pieces out of that. That is less than 20 cents per piece in raw materials.
