Arcade crt chassis/pcb board - heat?

Hi guys,
So I've finally gotten my mame cabinet working with a Arcade CRT with groovymame and crt emu drivers and a JPAC.

I've noticed the pcb/chassis board behind the crt feels kind of hot to the touch when everything is working. Is this the expected behavior? Or a sign that something is about to go?
I've attached a pic of the specific sections that seem to be hot. Thanks for any help!

Yes. Your health. You might not want to be poking around a live CRT with your hands unless you really know what you are doing.

Regarding the heat coming out of it, is this indicative of a component failing somewhere? Or is it normal for those two sections to get hot?

What you're pointing at are in fact heatsinks with the purpose to cool down hot parts. Unless they run blistering hot, all should be fine.

If heat is a real problem, you will notice from a distance.... so looky but no touchy

Those are heat sinks. They dissipate the heat from parts that normally run hot.
