mameuifx32 problem with video card?

so im guessing the video card dosnt work too great on my old xp computer because sometimes my mameuifx32 reads the games and sometimes it dosnt,not all my roms work but most of the ones Id like to play will but not always are they recognized.any suggestions on why this is happening?
