Sega Rally Championship with G27 and LOGITECH Profiler
« on: October 10, 2016, 06:32:10 am »
Hi,

i have a question combining my G27 with the Profiler to "attach" the G27 with my running Model 2 Emulator and my "old" favourite SEGA RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP.
It's running on Win 7, 64-Bit, all drivers are installed and the G27 is working with other games without any problems and i am able to play SEGA RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP with keys already.

But: what are the settings in the LOGITECH Profiler and the Model 2 EMUALTOR.INI to make the G27 work with pedals and shifters for SEGA RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP.  :dunno
How does the steering "match" with both programs?

Would be great to have some more hints to check them out.

thank you!

Pedals must marked separate in either windows or profiler.

Reduce the steering wheel rotation to 270 degrees in either windows or profiler.

Make sure xinput isn't enabled in the ini file.

See the model 2 setup guide stickied at the top of THE DRIVING & RACING subforum.

Also search the DRIVING & RACING subforum for force feedback setting (set in the ini file)

Don't use hyperspin or some other front end to launch model 2 emulator until you have it working without the front end.

EDIT: Changed references from this subforum to the driving and racing subforum.
I had originally responded through tapatalk and assumed the post was in the driving and racing subforum.

Thank you, BadMouth, it worked!  ;D   ... a bit of struggling due to settings for inverting brakes and accelerate and separating them, but then it worked!

Lucisac's Model 2 setup guide was a real help! I took FFB-Settings from this Threat: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,130376 and
to compare them, i will try your post here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=134688.0

I played a original twin-cab some weeks ago in spain (SEGA RALLY CH.) and FFB was a completely different feeling comparing to my FFB-settings; so i think i have to tweak a bit more!  :lol

What do you think about the configurator.exe (the wesker-tool) for editing emulator.ini?

 :applaud: thanks again!

I hadn't heard of it.  I generally don't like for other programs to mess with my ini settings when I can change them myself.
It's just one more layer of something to go wrong.
