How to exit this front-end (?) and USB not working/installing (?)
« on: September 30, 2016, 02:24:26 am »
Hi, im new to this forums aswell to the Arcade machine scene, so sorry for the "noobness" !

so i wanna get some new games and change the front end, see what specs i have, etc. but i have no idea how to exit this front-end, im sure i need a keyboard, but the problem is,i only have a USB one, and when i connected it to any of the two USB ports the machine has, the keyboard doesn't work (no light on the num pad, caps lock, etc).

so the questions are: how do i exit this front end and i HAVE to use a ps2 keyboard ?

- Front end
- USB ports (with keyboard already in)
- The sticks and switches thingy
- Ps2 ports

Thanks a lot and sorry if a just murdered english language !

Nope, thats  one problem i guess, i bought the arcade from some old dude that had no idea what to do with it.

its a common front end (if it is one) here in mexico, or atleast all the arcades look almost the same

Its just it looks like a DOS based front end so is it actually booting into windows?

well, when it startups, on the crt it displays only a lot of lines (like glitch art) and then the list of games, nothing windows-like

I suspect its run through DOS but hopefully someone else will be able to recognise it and help you.

But it maybe worth while using a PS2 keyboard to try.
