Saw Panic at the Disco and Weezer last night from a great distance away. Didn't make it there early enough to see the other bands.
The stage designs were pretty awesome. Other than that, meh.
My friend and I sat back nitpicking them like the two old guys on the Muppets.
I'm getting old and have become spoiled:
Watching a show from far, far, away sucks. I'd rather pay the money for good seats and have a better experience.
$15 for a 16oz craft beer sucks (didn't buy, $7-8 is the norm at the venues I'm used to going to)
Waiting in line 20 minutes for a drink because half the people are paying with a credit card, there's only one machine, and the five employees stand in line waiting to use the card machine rather than take care of cash customers sucks. Oh, and the card machine is painfully slow because it relies on a mobile network which is overloaded from the crowd.
Porta Potties suck, but they suck worse when there are no sinks or hand sanitizer provided.
I give the bands a 6 and the venue a minus 1. To be fair to the bands, I'm not much of a fan of their style of music anyway.
Eh, it got me out of the house on a Sunday evening.
Game of Thrones probably would have been a PITA to stream as it aired anyway.
Looking forward to seeing The Claypool Lennon Delirium in a smaller venue.
