Defender inspired side-art
« on: April 04, 2016, 01:43:55 pm »
So I found (by accident) this site, where a guy had been commissioned to draw some defender posters.  http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=7596238

I figured that looked quite cool, so redrew some of the graphics in Inkscape, and tried to make a side-art out of it for my Bartop I am making.  The whole image is now vectorised.

I'll happily take any constructive criticism before I get it printed, and probably share the full image when done :)

There is one, I just had it a bit further forward than the other.  Maybe it would look more balanced if both were coming out together.   I'll move it :)

Love the original theme as opposed to the collage route. Excellent job!

Thanks.  I've been living with it for a while, so just looking to see if anyone has any improvement ideas

I don't like it.  The pieces are too simplistic and the shading is weird.  Looks like a ---smurfy--- flash game circa 2001.

I mean, it's okay, but if you're paying to have custom art printed....

I'm more than happy with how it looks on my Bartop (still not finished)

Thanks, I'll upload the vector artwork at some point in case anyone wanted use it, or change it about a bit and use it.
