schematic needed, Pentranic 688
« on: June 23, 2015, 04:42:38 pm »
Can anyone help me find a schematic for a Pentranic model 688?

I need to replace ZD901, D905, D906 but have no specs for these.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice.....there is!!

it's a "Pentranic" type chassis (Pentranic 1019)

it's a chassis actually made by "jen Shinn", "Rodotron",  "Wei-ya" or "Huai Electronics" and/or possibly "Sharp Image" with a part number of 688 for the company ALS marketing. I've often heard the "ALS" brand was one of the worst. Lot's of companies at this time where cloning each others chassis.

hopefully this schematic has what you are looking for and your chassis isn't too far off. I wouldn't take this schematic as law, but it'll be near enough.
