LOL! I just got home from the shop Im using the booth at. Good progress today....not quite finished. I couldnt clear the cabinet because the owner needed his space for band practice. Haha. So, Ill go back tomorrow evening and put the clear on. Here is todays work.
Ive never sprayed metal flake before. I got a bottle just in case I wanted to add a bit more POP to the metallic gold. Small flakes, not to crazy. .008 so it would flow through an HVLP gun with a 1.4 tip.

I got the cabinet all masked up and cleaned off with wax and grease remover. It is also tacked off. Behind the cabinet is an extra speaker panel on the ground I made to test the flake on before I decide to spray the cabinet.

Here I am getting the sealer I used. This sealer is ready to spray out of the can, no reduction or hardner needed. The sealer adds an extra barrier between the high build primer and usually fills any fine sand scratches I might have missed. Sealer can be tinted, and often comes in different colors. I just chose gray.

Here is the cabinet with two coats of sealer.
