  • No. It's your top score on Pole Position.
Hey guys.  Like I said I am down in West Virginia for work and I have stumbled upon a Ms Pac Man cab.  The cab itself is listed on Craigslist and from the one picture doesn't look bad.  From what I see it can be saved.  Now my question is I have messaged and emailed the owner about seeing more pics before I pull the trigger.  Should I just get a hold of this person and tell them I want it or wait until they get back with me?

Hard to say.  If the owner hasn't gotten back to you yet it might be gone and they just haven't taken down the posting.  How long has the ad been up?

Should have started driving as soon as you saw the ad.

Good luck, tire kicker.

I've seen some really rough cabs for sale on Craigslist. I drove 1.5 hours to look at a cabinet for $375 that was in "perfect shape". There was 2x4's and home made metal straps holding the bottom of the cab together. He begging me to take it for $100 or name my price by the time I left. It's still for sale on Craigslist half a year later.

I wouldn't drive far to see anything without at least talking to the guy on the phone first. There is some time wasters out there.

There is a similar cab in the Tulsa area priced at $550, for that price point I'd be loading it up yesterday.

If you want a Ms Pac and a project, and the parts are all there, then sure, get it!

How long has the ad been up?

The ad has been up for 23 days.  I'm calling the poster on lunch to see where I can get to.

Good luck, tire kicker.

I wish I was close enough to kick the tires.  Then I could see what kind of shape it's in and pull the trigger.   :D

How are you going to get it back home? I assume you drive a truck.

Yeah.  I have a truck.  If I use my wifes old Jeep, which might happen, I'm only 6 hours away so I'll get a Uhaul trailer.

Go for it! I'd do it for $250 if it's working.

Even if its not it would be a good learning cab.

you wanna drive that far, I have a MsPacman with vinyl side art but everything else is original in fantastic shape I'd part with.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Malenko - This cab is only 1 1/2 hours away from where I am at now.  Which is out of town.  Which will most likely be for 10 months.  So to keep  myself occupado I was going to buy it and fix it up and keep or sell it.  And 250 didn't seem like a bad price.
