Taito x config issue

Just wondering if anyone can help, I'm having a issue with the taitox_config.exe everytime I load the config It goes as far as letting me choose resolution y/n etc.. But when I try and assign my keys it won't let me do it. Please can someone help

What are you using to input the keys?  From what I remember, it only takes keyboard keys for the inputs and not joysticks.
