My Ridge Racer cab is nearly completely reassembled and complete. I had to replace the twin muffin fans (thank you, Leiberman Music Co.) and everything else is great. I even fixed the interferance on the monitor... BUT:
I have pincushioning on the monitor as well. It isn't terrible (I didn't notice it at first) but I want to know if there is a quick-and-not-so-dirty way of fixing it. Here is what I'm looking at:
There is no "official" markings indentifying the monitor as any thing other than it is a WG make. An old repair tag on it claims that it is a 8113, but I can't find ANYTHING through Google on this make of monitor.
It is a 33' (probably not relevent)
The Chassis has two "horizontal size" style coils on it. One of the studs looks to be completely out of the coil (the coil on the right, it is out to the fullest extent possible) , which makes me wonder if the tech who last had it adjusted it to the extreme limit. I don't want to "tweek" anything until I know what is what.
ANY help will be repaid with my enduring gratitude.
