ever built one of those cheap projection TV kits that they sell on ebay for like $15...

just curious what kind of results you may or may not have gotten....

All they send yo is a small fresnal lense. Most of them require the tv to be upside down to display right.

Yup, all they send is a surplus Fresnel lens from an old overhead projector (like in schools). You would just be throwing your money away!
