The red spray paint. LOL.
So as you all know I didn't plan on having a door on this thing originally.
By the time I decided to add a door, Everything was pretty much together.
Thing with this design is, there's simply not a lot of room to work inside the cabinet, and it's really hard to see down inside without removing the CP. (I got lazy)
Anyway, I figured I'd align the hinges where I wanted them, and give em a quick squirt of red so I knew where to drill for the holes. It worked perfectly, although my hands were red for a bit.
At any rate, I found out the hard way that an ounce of planning is worth a ton of ghetto engineering.
The build is now complete (Minus the Marquee)
There's a number of things I'd do differently if I could start over again, particularly with being a bit more careful on a few measurements for the "L" brackets. As it turns out, 1/4" makes a big difference in "polish" for pieces like that.
That being said, In the end I'm reasonably happy with my first build. I'm already regretting having to hand this over to my sister's kids this Christmas....lol
This is what the rear would up looking like.

A bit patchy. It's just no fun painting when it's freezing. I decided to call press time.
This is what the final build looks like from the front.

All I need now is a decent Marquee.
I just paid all my bills and I'm poor again. Any pro bono artists out there that want to hook it up with a simple red and black design? I'm not picky at this point. LOL.
