Aimtrak force quit calibration
« on: December 29, 2014, 08:27:57 am »
There must be some way to force quit the calibration process, especially when you get stuck at one of the point during the calibration, i basically can't use windows anymore until the calibration has ended, tried ending the program via task manager but that did not appear to help.

only solution is to unplug the USB port but that is not very easy for me to do.

I find it completely unacceptable that I have to remove the USB port to quit calibration.

basically the mouse cursor is flashing at the bottom of the screen and I can't use my PC until calibration has ended, but I can't as it's not accepting my gun trigger input.

is there not a button I can press to at least re-start calibration, I heard pressing and holding the large button does this, but it does not seem to work.

I am using the arcade pro utility btw.

It's because it's not seeing your gun. Move back, get closer, do what you can until it sees the bottom shot.

I tried that, tried way back, way forward, shooting at all points around the bottom of the screen.

this usually happens when I have not correctly calibrated the top left and right pointers as I used my arm too much, but it accepted them anyway.

usually I have to shut my PC down when this happens, sometimes I threaten to shut it down, then choose cancel when windows prompts me to force close all apps, I can then get to using my PC again as the calibration has force ended as if I have unplugged my USB port.
