That was a pretty good deal on a g29 wheels. I think my next one would be a Thrustmaster or Fanatec setup. I currently have a G27 and while I recommend it for anyone just getting into things it does feel a little bit too much like a plastic toy.

In a world where $5,000 can get you all kinds of fun sports cars, I can't rationalize spending any kind of money on driving simulators.  I chunk $5 in them periodically at the arcade, that works for me.

Cheap sports cars is the easy part. Enjoying them without going broke with tickets, or ending up in jail is the hard part. Simulators take care of that part. I would put $5000 into a motion simulator, but there is nothing in that price range that will work for me. I am a little bit too large for those. I may have to try to build something one of these days. I think the motion simulation may help me with motion sickness playing driving games in VR.
