Well, they're interesting, to say the least. What's the story behind them?

While odd, it is an interesting design. Tell us more about the hardware? Is each person playing on the same machine, with the same monitor output? Is it a pc computer or xbox?

These look like they were inspired by a number of cabs.

There's also the Nintendo Vs. or the Versus City cabs, but these other cabs are a bit of a departure.

I think the design is innovative, but the details are a bit lacking.Did u do that paint job with just 2 cans of paint 1 red and one blue? I think I used about 15 on mine and 80% of the cab has vinyl on it. If you would do some better fitting, improve the finish put about six more coats of paint on it , add some capcom style art on the side, and  a few LED's it would be awesome. Don't take it hard if u get dogged a little, look around at some of the projects on this site. There is a steep learning curve to building a well built beautiful machine.Remember the devil is in the details.

The sticks are just a bit too far back, I like the shape of the blue one better, but the speaker location of the red one better.I guess you need to make a hybrid of the 2 (purple I guess?)
I completely agree that they seem inspired by the versus city cabs.

I've seen worse first attempts.

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Looks like a nice concept, especially if you have two smallerish kids that are into games.  I think the removal of the fight stick, and incorporating controls into the area above the fight stick, and below the speaker, and finally flush mounting the speaker would give it a completely different look a feel.

Of course - because all that work would make it a completely different project!  >:D

Looks cool to me. Would be good to see some better pictures and get some info on the system hookups.
