Ok, so I switched to mame .161.  Got everything on the pc but now everytime I play a game, about 45 seconds to a minute into the game it just stops, Mame shuts down and says "Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator has encountered a problem and has to shut down" and then asks if I want to send my report.

I have removed everything and tried again reinstalling mame and my roms. I have know idea why it's doing this but after a little googling it maybe that my harddrive is bad or that windows wasn't installed properly, or I'm missing some certain drivers.  I have different motherboards and HDD's around that I can try out to see if I can get it going.

I have updated all drivers so that shouldn't be the problem.

I did get my arcade controls in the mail:

I remounted my fan and I designed a new Life Force layout for Atomic FE as well.

This next week I will work on getting a working pc up and going damnit.

Haven't had much of chance to work on the arcade, but I did go to a arcade last night and had a blast.

Kind of a side story but I love the "How Did This Get Made" podcast about terrible movies.  The next movie they are going to be talking about is coincidentally:

"Lifeforce"

No connections to the video game besides the name though, this movie is about space vampires.

So I'm having PC problems. I removed the pc I had installed in the cab because I just couldn't get it working properly.  I put different one that I thought I had working, The games play great, the front end works awesome...... but every-time I turn it on, in-between the start of the pc and the start of the front end, 3 boxes pop up with rundll32 errors. I've done everything I know to do, to try to get rid of them...but no luck.  So I'm going to try to reinstall the OS and see if it will work after a fresh install of xp.

Now I can't be too mad because I use old ass PC's that are given to me for free, but I'm not giving up on her and still finding time to work on it in this freezing South Dakota weather.

PC is working perfectly! Here is what I did this weekend.
Here is the PC working correctly.

Installed the fan grill.

Mounted the PC in the cab.

Mounted my speaker amp and speakers. Got the amp off aliexpress, and got the speakers from a stereo made for an old model iphone that a friend was throwing out. The speaker covers I got from ebay a while back, I was going to use them on my Moon Patrol Bartop, but didn't because they ended up being too big. I had to paint the outside of them black, they used to be gold.

Now that this is back on track I need to finish hiding windows and make the control panel next.

Also still need to completely figure out what I'm going to use for side art and CPO, because it needs to go with the yellow buttons I already bought.
