Removed all leaf switches from my current setup and put them onto the Electric Ice buttons, ran all the wires through the little hole provided so they are out of the way of the buttons operation.

Realized afterward that I wouldn't be able to get the button wrench in there to tighten anything down... had to remove all the wires and screw everything in, then put the switches back again.

Got all of player 1 and 3 LED's hooked up to the LED-Wiz... no keyboard wires hooked up yet.

Player 2 + 4... not hooked up yet.

My new pet bird will live here one day.

all of this took about 5-6 hours so far.
Will post more tomorrow.

Testing the buttons... a lot of my connections to the LED-Wiz were bad and I had to strip some wire and refit it into the terminals.. all working now though

  • And to the death god we say, "Not today!"
So what exactly have you done here?  Did you have RGB-Drives in the Electric Ice buttons previously?  If not, what kind of LED's did you have?

No! I had nothing! I purchased the electric ice buttons fitted with rgb LEDs (helio9 model- super bright 9 led per button/3 per color) from groovygamegear. Additionally in the first pic you see 2x LED-Wiz controllers.  There's also a 5v 4Amp power supply, not pictured, that I bought separately.

So basically replaced all the buttons I had on the panel already for these.
