I just thought I'd post a note regarding my failed attempt to install a modern 16:10 LCD in this C1D upright. The converter would not allow me to fit the full screen in the output no matter what settings I tried. First off, You have to severely reduce the Clamp settings to keep the color from washing out. Next, no matter how I adjust the H size, I could not get the entire screen on the monitor. It was almost like wrapping where you would see less and less of the image as you shrunk it down. IE, the left side of the image overwrote about 15% of the right side and it would never allow you to fit the entire image on the monitor. I tried it with all the resolutions and all the settings.

If anyone has overcome this problem, let me know, but as it is, I'll be returning my LCD TV and going back to a straight Med Res CRT. This is quite saddening because I was hoping to use these converters on a couple of RTRs in the pipeline.

I had that issue with a Blitz/Showtime + LCD combo until I played with the 8200's Clamp settings in the menu, they had to be set just right for my display but once tweaked it works great.
