Custom TMNT Turtles In Time Side Art...
« on: May 09, 2014, 02:12:44 pm »
A fellow KLOV member made up some custom TMNT "TIT" side art based off the SNES box art. Since I have a TMNT/TIT setup, I volunteered to test the artwork on the TIT side of my cabinet. He sent me the file and I had it printed locally. Turned out a bit darker than I expected, but that's not really a big deal to me. Only problem was I forgot to see if it was set to the exact cabinet dimensions. Turns out that the width was correct, but the height was about 3 inches too tall. I ended up sacrificing a lot off Mikey at the bottom.

Given how it turned out, I am happy regardless. I think it looks great. MUCH better than the original but I can totally see and understand the people who would still prefer the original to this. It would be like if someone totally re-designed the side art for MK1. Sure, it would probably be kick-ass, but the purists would want the original. That all being said, here are the pics. Sorry they aren't the best quality. All I have is my iPhone at the moment...

Opinions?

Hmmmm.... I wish the logo & title was just a bit more centered, like on the original TMNT side.

Its cool, but redundant turtle is redundant.  Remove the first turtle in the logo, so the new logo says teenage muntant ninja turtles in time.

yeah drop the "turtles in time" part and make the logos the same size in the same spot.  Im a purist but I still think it looks TITs (see what I did there?)
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

After work today, I thought I'd try something different. Added Purple T-Molding to the TIT side. Opinions?

Pay no mind to this guy.  Your art is printed, no need to change it or concern yourself.

The 2 t-molding colors look pretty sweet. Definitely keep it.
