Ticket Redemption
« on: April 28, 2014, 03:10:07 am »
I was thinking of exploring the idea of a Ticket Redemption component for my cab. However, before I go spend money on something like that I want to figure a few things first.

A quick random search turns up nationalticket.com prices of $98 for 100k tickets. A roll of 2k raffle tickets is $9. A bit more palatable.

Can the ticket redemption hardware use raffle tickets instead of redemption tickets? I have piles of tickets from places like Chuckee Cheese, John's and Circus Circus and I don't see any obvious difference but I have zero raffle tickets.

If they are the same size and have the ticket notch you should be fine. But, you can buy tickets in smaller bundles like 2,000 tickets. I'm sure Amusements Plus will have them and they wont kill you on the price. You can get them from Happ too but I can't stand Happ. I feel like I've been violated every time I bought something from them.

its about this simple
90% of tickets are the same size
lord knows u can even run a bingo hall ticket and it will work
the rule is the tracter feed the notch's
size is 1" to 1-5/8"
point of refernce here is entropy int'l ltd
if u get a unit just make sure the tracter whell's are in good shape
and explore the door or prize tickets at bingo hall's
about 9 buck for a rool of a thou..

Shipping something from the U.S. to Canada for repair/exchange?  Please use USPS to avoid (additional?/excessive?) shipping charges.  PM me if you have any questions.
