ArcadeVGA 5000 - 4 bit color only?
« on: April 12, 2014, 07:46:35 pm »
Hi,

I recently purchased a ArcadeVGA 5000 from ultimarc to use with my wells-gardner arcade monitor. I am running Windows XP (32-bit SP3) and followed the instructions on the install (i.e. use the ATI uninstall utility from Marc's site, plug in arcadeVGA hardware, cancel windows auto detect, use the provided drivers from ultimarc to install, etc.).

After I reboot and return to windows I only have the option of 600x460 with 4-bit color. I am also missing direct3d so I can't run MAME. Has anyone had this problem? How do I fix it? I tried reinstalling 5x.

Thank you!

Regards,
Joe
