High Score Saves Question
« on: September 30, 2013, 09:17:06 am »
Hello all,

For the most part i am having great success getting my High Scores to save with MAME v143 but there are a couple games I really enjoy that just won't save.  Ring King/King of Boxer(tried both ROMs) and King of Fighters 2002.  I have read somewhere that certain games just aren't supported and I guess I am curious why and/or if there was a way I could get these to do it by editing an ini file or something.

For now I just use Mame32 v129 and created a save state for these games that autoload and save on exit but I really want to eliminate having the two separate listings inside of GameEx and get them in one HUGE list  :)

Thanks,
Rich

Astro Blaster, one of my favorites, acts the same way. Wish they would save.

So I need to have those exact ROMs for it to keep the high score for those pareticular games.  Interesting.  I'll have to see which ROMs I have then.

Very helpful!

BLAST!  I was able to find that ROM but the ringkingw does not run.  It runs ringking(us set 1)
Can I modify the Hi-score file to reflect the ROM I want it to use or no?
