  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi guys,

I recently finished wiring up my two LED Wiz modules -- one for each set of 8 buttons for each player. When I plug my two LED wiz modules into my computer, I can only get one to register within LED Blinky at a time (the first one plugged in) When I go to "Simple LED Test" i can go through all the buttons and all of their colors, but only one set of buttons at a time. In addition to this, only one LED Wiz device is shown on the menu even when both are connected. I have attached a picture for reference (this is with both LED Wiz's connected at the same time - the one which is registering is Player 1)

I checked my terminals and I am getting a steady 5V at all wires. I am powering the two LED wiz's from an ATX Power supply.

It looks like LED Blinky can support many devices -- yet if I try to choose any of the other LED Wiz devices in "GenLEDBlinkyInputMap" no buttons are registered. The only slot that functions is LED Wiz device 1.

What am I doing wrong? How can I get both devices to register?

Thanks!

Tyler

As a follow-up, this issue was caused by both LEDWiz controllers having the same ID value (1). The only solution is to contact GGG and request to swap one of the controllers for ID2.
