Hello there, it has been a long dream of mine to own my personal arcade machine so i could play those awsome beat em up games from my childwood.
So i decided to give myself a late xmas present and i just bought an Virtual Arcade from Covielsa.
I paid a bit for it, as it had already jamma to pc interface and it was in generaly good shape.
The first thing i did on it was to "repair" the damage in the control panel acrylic made by cigarret burns.
It's not perfect... but i didn't had every tool necessary for the job, and i don't know if this acrylic will ever look perfect... but the result so far is more than acceptable.
The next steps are to:
Upgrate the PC, i have an e8400 knocking on my door, i am looking for an ati 4890 and 4gb ram , then i am going to swap the buttons for another type of buttons, next is a front end software, and to top it all i am going to cover the cabinet top to bottom with vinyl.
I am going to post regulary on this forum as i am a complete newbie on this subject so i suspect i am going to need a lot of help from you (guys)
Cheers
