inject RGB into 90's TV
« on: December 28, 2013, 10:39:56 am »
I'm not having any luck find information but I have an RCA tv and I opened the back up. the chassis is a F27242GY

I would like to try to inject RGB but I cant find any sort of schematic information. It looks like U101 is where I want to focus, would anyone happen to know what pins on what IC's I need to focus on to get RGb injected? Is there some kind of tool could I use to determine what pins are used for R G B and Sync inputs?

no number of the chip or nothing?

google the IC# for a datasheet. it will tell you what pins do what.

a scope is the tool needed

second that is a hot chassic u need to isolate it
not a grand idea to tag in rgb sync to,
as the chip in question dose all the croma work, pedstal, horz drive, vert drive, horz high voltage shut down..
1 wrong move and u have a blown chassic
