Neotec NT-2501 from Blitz 99

I need some guidance on where to go from where I am on this issue.

Originally this began as a Vertical collapse where the monitor just had a horizontal line across the monitor. I performed the following tasks to help alleviate this issue.

• Cap Kit installed with the result of the same issue
• Vertical IC LA7836 chip replaced with the screen actually giving me more of a vertical signal

What is next for me to look at replacing or testing? I included images and video below.

looks like it's on the verge of collapsing again. i would't run this monitor too long like that or you risk blowing the vertical IC again.

i also have the IC301 listed as an LA7838 not 36 double check.

there is a few smaller value capacitors in the IC area, C305/C307/C309 change those too if you haven't already.

also check IC401 and it's surrounding caps.(c301 c350) this chip controls the horizontal, but also supplies the timing signal for the vertical IC301, if the signal is dirty, IC301 won't work properly either.

Thanks for the response. The chip that I pulled out of it was the LA7836 and it used to work for years now.

I have changed and verified C305/C307/C309

I also changed and verified c301 but I don't see c350 on my list or on the board.
