Game Launcher - keyboard shortcuts
« on: November 17, 2003, 10:12:09 am »
I would like to propose a new feature for excellent frontend Game Launcher.

Can Game Launcher have keyboard shortcuts?  For instance, I would like to be able to hit 'G' and have the list immediately jump to games that start with that letter.  I know it is designed for arcade cabinets, but this feature would still be nice and not interfere with the joystick interface.

It would also be nice if you could hit a button and bring up the alphabet so you could navigate it using the joystick.  It could be modeled after the highscrore entry in most games so it would still have that arcade feel.

Anyways, that's my idea.  Does anybody know if something like this in in the works already?

Try contacted Dave Drib. about it.  Haven't seem him around for a while.  A while back he was saying that he had a lot of upgrades he wanted to do but like i said, he hasn't been around in a while. He's probably busy with real life.
