Hi there just wanted to post some useful information that I came across after I set up my 4player mame cab with mala as a front end.  I have a Compaq computer that I used in this project.  I had an annoying situation that was occuring when playing certain games.  Mainly ones that have alot of button mashing.  Now Ive already disabled the sticky keys and checked and configured the Ipac4 so that wasnt the issue.  Apparently what the problem was is this issue that is specific to HP and Compaq PC's.  Im posting this here because these companies have made alot of pc's and its very likely that some of you may use these for future builds.  So whats going on is it looks like CNTRL + ALT+ S is opening this window wich is a support information window that includes various system infor and is designed so when users would call in problems to Compaq / HP the techs on the phone could get a quick look at the users info.  This can be disabled... and once I took care of this I havent had any other issues with my games exiting back to mala.  Heres the fix..

1.
Click Start , All Programs , "HP Help and Tools ".

2.
For Compaq computers, right-click either Compaq Support Information or Compaq Presario Support Information , and click Properties .

For Pavilion computers, right-click either HP Support Information or HP Pavilion Support Information , and click Properties

3.Click inside the Shortcut keys field, and either delete the contents of the Shortcut Keys (None) or change it to another key combination that you are not using in other software programs. For example, if you want to change the key combination to CTRL + ALT + Z, select the Shortcut key field and press all three keys at the same time.

I just disabled the whole thing altogether as this really isnt needed or useful for my setup.
I hope that someone finds this information useful.

I'm building a cabinet right now and was going to use a Compaq PC for this. I'll keep this in mind. Thanx!
