NeoTec NT-27E - remote board questions
« on: May 13, 2013, 05:51:00 pm »
I bought a SF Rush - Alcatraz Ed, and the monitor is missing the remote board.
The monitor is a NeoTec NT-27E

I can't find one specifically for the monitor.  Will a remote board from another NeoTec monitor work??... like the 2701?

i don't recall 100% but i think they are the same. I'll check my carcass pile and see. I think there is a bunch of neotecs in there.

Man, if you can find one I'd be so grateful.  I bought this for my daughters and I feel terrible that I'm not able to get the game ready for them.  So far I've been spit shining....installing new drivers on the steering board (hopefully it works now) and piecing it together.

this pic is of a NT-2701 remote board, but I suspect it works on the NT-27E chassis too.  note the 4 connectors to the remote board.  My chassis also has four plugs for the remote board.

**on a side note, I called Betson, and while they had the part number in their system, it's not in stock & they're checking with NEOTEC's repair crew to see if they have one as well.  So far no luck.  I'm even petitioning the KLOV'ers to see if they can source one.

FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Sorry for the delay.

I have a 2701 chassis here (actually 3 now.) and it's different than the one pic you posted. it's remote board has 3 connectors. a 2 pin, a 4 pin and a 10 pin. so no luck there.

i have a service manual for the 27e so we must have some 27e's out there someplace still. I'll keep an eye out.
