Arachnid English Mark 5000 questions
« on: May 04, 2013, 06:27:54 pm »
I just acquired an Arachnid English Mark 5000 andI was told that the machine was functional before we moved it, (I don't know I didn't check) but now when I turn the machine on only two lights come on, the "Temporary Score" light, not the numbers, and the other light is the left coin slot.

After some serious investigation I found that the large Capacitor (number 119 in figure 20 of the link below) is missing from my machine and I can only assume that the reason for the lack of power is due to that capacitors absence. My question is can anyone that has this machine send me the specs on that capacitor so that I can order a new one.

and of course if anyone knows where I can find a 3 ribbon switch matrix I would love to find one of those as well.

For everyone's future reference, I am attaching a picture of the 5000 series power supply assembly.
