Heh, these things sells for like $5 each at yard sales now.  I have probably bought 15 of them in the last year.  Kids just have no use for them because it's not a DS.

i know. my i am going to a big neighborhood garage sale this weekend, and am hoping to get a few out of it.

garage sales are the best time to hit up on great deals for monitors, computers, old game systems, games, and movies. i always end up selling the movies than myself to make up for the costs on the other stuff i get.

but if you want to see one or two of those gameboys i am interested  ;)

Ok, I'll bite- Why would you buy 15 of them?

Usually because it's a package.  "GBA SP and 6 games, $20"  Want one of the games?  Buy the whole setup.  And they're kid owned systems so they aren't usually in perfect shape.  It's a standard collector's habit, I suppose.  It's there, it's cheap, buy it.  Back when I was still actively collecting I had like 30 original Gameboys for this reason.  :)  I also used to buy one from Gamestop every time I went in, towards the end of them carrying the Gameboy, because they were fifty cents.

I have a gameboy advanced platinum with box instructions, etc.  Pretty good condition.

I also have the compact flash supercard with a 512mb cf and a cf reader.

Interested in the whole lot?
