I wonder if it started out centered on the roof and shifted to the back when they got to that point in the parking lot.

Glad to know that snopes article is there so I don't have to dig up the word doc with the story on that pic. Basically the same story snopes had. I got the pic and story honestly (virally/forwarded email) circa 2000 when I was living in the DC area.

Cool to see the newspaper stuff, hadn't seen that before.

BTW I missed the original Chad story - what happened? Unsecured mdf in a pickup truck bed?

i read it. I was expecting a legendary story of something like a circus poster or billboard with the clown being destroyed by a piece of unsecured mDF flying off while Chad did donuts in the adjacent parking lot or something.
