Help. Can't get 60 in 1 to work with my CGA monitor.

I have never had an X in 1 board that didn't require extensive monitor adjustments before it displayed correctly on a CGA monitor. I actually had to put a width cap in one 19 in 1 machine because the thing outputted so wicked narrow that I couldn't get the image adjusted any closer than an inch from the sides.

Can you explain the width cap idea? I've had it before where say adjustment pots on a remote board or a horizontal width coil physically wouldn't move the signal far enough in a direction and I've often considered changing out the value or adding resistors to see if I could alter it further. I haven't actually messed with it though, not sure if I haven't had time or if I'm just scared.

The one other thing I suggest reading up on is positive and negative sync. Not sure what monitor you're running, or about the rest of your setup because Phoenix wasn't JAMMA.

Sometimes the DIP switches on the 60 in 1 boards are very poor quality. Try turning the bit that you require on and off 2 or 3 times to make sure it is switching.

That definitely looks like a VGA sync issue.
Did you try just pluggin in a regular computer monitor to see if it comes up, there should be a VGA out off the board. If that comes up fine you know your problem.
