Super 6 Plus II freezing (English Mark Darts)
« on: November 18, 2012, 01:46:55 pm »
Hi there.  I just picked up a Super 6 Plus II (6000?) for $20.  Everything works now, but the game just stops responding partially through games and even when running through demos when idle.  Any ideas?

Also, the key won't work to open the front panel for some reason.  Thanks in advance for any help!
Dan

Common problem. Either a power supply problem or stuck tips in the target head holding a switch closed.

Next time it freezes, unplug the target head from either the game board or the target interface board and wait at least 60 seconds. With it unplugged, do you get any responses from tripping the coin switches or sliding the test switch? If so, the problem is in the target head. If not, then power supply problems with the +5 volts.

All the cabinet keys (except for the coin door) are keyed alike to National Cabinet Locks key # C-415A. Available to purchase in the parts department of your local Arachnid coin operated game distributor. Some good local locksmiths stock that key too.

Power supply problems with this machine are well documented on many forums.
