I rented a 16' box truck with a liftgate. If anyone from the Ventura County (Thousand Oaks) area on down south needs help taking home some goodies, and are willing to split the cost of the truck, I can help. I would buy 3 at the most so that's gotta leave room for 4 or so other games..

Damn!  I was looking forward to that auction, but once again I'm broke just in time...  :P  They should have one again next spring, hope I have some cash by then...

Well guys how was it?
well i got there about 8:00 and looked around for about 45 mins and didn't see anything that really interested me or i should say anything i would be able to afford that interested me so i left. i was really only looking for a golden tee machine that was for parts only. i know i was dreaming but it was worth a chance. i've already got the board and trackball so i was hoping to find the rest but no dice. there was a couple showcase cabs i would have loved to bring home but with the new hotrod(53' ford convertible leadsled) in the garage i really have room for only one more cabinet and that will be the golden tee.

(I took a pen and paper to write down all the prices, but promptly lost the pen once I arrived)

I got there about 8:30 and the selection was just average. No Defenders, Stargate, Joust, Battlezone, or any of the other "classics"

There were a few Ms Pacman's and 1 pacman that went for 500-750. 1 dragons Lair that went for 1200.oo (I think)They were all in medium to poor shape. A Popeye in a generic cab with a beat up control panel and a problem with the vertical hold went for 300!  :o

I went specifically looking for a Toobin' and found it. Nearly pristine condition. Picked that up for 300.oo and I got a Super Hang-on for 125.oo

Pachislo machines went for 150.oo -200.oo (only had about 5 or 6)

Showcase cabs went for 500+ as did the majority of the sit down games.

Centipedes (2 or 3) went for 600+

The only games that went for 1000+ were newer shooting games such as Jurrasic Park, Vampire Hunter(?). and a few others.

Ghost & Goblins went for 300.oo

Super Sprint/Championship Sprint  (3 total) went for around 300.00 - 350.00 each.  Same for a mini Super Off-Road (2 player)

Overall I'm happy because I got my Toobin' game, but the selection of games disappointed me.  I was hoping for some skillstop machines and many more pachislo machines. I'll probably go again in June but this time I'll know what to expect.

Oh, and I got a box of 10 switching power supplies for $1.oo . I hope at least one works!
