i had a dream last night...
« on: October 16, 2003, 08:29:12 am »
i dreamed i was walking to target, and then i saw this little stairway going underneath the store, and when i went under the store, there were 4 or 5 cabinets that were really old.  there was this guy in a carnival suit (red and white striped) at this little booth, and he was selling a TMNT cab for 25 cents.  i bought it, and was wheeling it out to the parking lot, only to find that for some reason i didnt have  a car!  argh!  nightmare.   :)

For 25 cents I'd carry it home. And I live in New Zealand!!

I can't warn people enough: NEVER buy ANYTHING from a guy in a red and white striped suit. I repeat: NEVER buy ANYTHING from a guy in a red and white striped suit.

It often explodes.

I have arcade dreams WAYYY too often.  I'd say at least once a night, I end up in an arcade at some point.  Hell, just before I got up today, I dreamed that I had a Ms. Pac-Man cocktail in my living room.   ???

Wonder what Freud would say about that..."sometimes a cab is just a cab..."

I don't know what Freud would say, but I have alot of sleep problems too.  I go to a sleep doctor and might have some suggestions for you.  Feel free to PM me.

Usually my dreams have a recurring theme of either embarrassement or abandonment, but I have a lot of arcade dreams too.

In the most recent one my friends and I were trying to pick up these huge free cabinets from the mall, but for some reason security was after us. And man were those cabinets huge. One of them was like some Capcom scroller, but it was in a giant blue submarine cabinet (shaped more like a diving bell though). All of them were insane cockpits like that.

I remember another dream where I bought a Q*Bert from down the street, and I was trying to drag it home behind the car with a rope tied to a piece of wood with casters on it.

Does anyone ever actually have good dreams? I really can't remember having a good dream, most of mine would at best be classified as uncomfortable, while most of them are more like nightmares (although what scares me most isn't what scares you most, thus my dreams probably wouldn't be very scary to you).
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.
